Resources Math Mathematics Lessons Database -- Created and maintained by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Internet-based lessons in mathematics and programs related to teaching mathematics--provides a database of math lessons for all grade levels. Lesson search engine is easy to use. Many math lessons are interactive. A must see for all math teachers. Mayan Math -- explores the numerical and calendrical Mayan system as well as providing additional activities for elementary teachers. Another related site which explores the Mayan counting system based on 3 symbols. Project SkyMath -- designed for middle school mathematics teachers. Provides information on how to use the project's 16 classroom activities. Plane Math -- designed to "stimulate and motivate students with physical disabilities in grades 4-7 to pursue aeronautics-related careers." In addition, provides many useful math resources. Fractals -- site for elementary and middle school students to learn about fractals. Lesson plans are based on the NCTM standards, and resources for other math lessons are also available. SCORE Mathematics Lessons -- collection of lesson plans based on the California Mathematics Framework and the NCTM Standards for K-12 teachers. The Geometry Center at the University of Minnesota -- contains great multimedia exhibits about geometric structures. Audience: K-12 teachers. Mathematics in Ancient Greece -- an exhibition (primarily a textual presentation) based on documents in the Vatican Library. Audience: K-12 teachers. The Math Forum Student Center -- site contains student activities like Problem of the Week and Project of the Month;offers activity links by grade level.
