Anybody know where the class of '78 is? I like many of you, remember my years at EA with great memories. Looking for alumni named Cindy Walker, and our band director Gary Flach. Also, interested in having a 20 year reunion. Great Web site and hope to hear from graduates from 78-79 soon. P.S. I was the one who played flute and lived in the band room!!!
Hi! - my first Guestbook - I'm in Houston working as a programmer, and I remember EA very fondly indeed. I was just talking about how I was the only kid in my freshman year at college who had enjoyed high school! Terry Evander (71) lives here and works in the next building; she still considers EA to be one of the high points in her life. Bruce, keep the web page going, it's cool. ttfn; Wendy Nordstrom (Wilkinson) 1972
I would like to say to hello to all my classmates that graduated with me in 1993. To update everybody on my life, I have graduated from NJIT in Chemical Engineering and I am currently working for Merck Co. I am persuing a Masters in Chemical Eng. and an MBA.
Eu sou do St. Pauls, e, este ano, nós demos um cacete em vocês no little eight. Ha Ha Ha.
Where is the class of '85? Have you all disappeared? I know we weren't that big . . . but I have only seen a few names. If you remember Handball, Softball, Volleyball, Mrs. Stanton, the Grease Production, Chorus, the parties, get in touch. Abracos, Vikki
Well, la vem a familia Stirling, com Bigorrilho e Jessie no seus altares... but where's almost everybody else, and when are they going to jump in here? Come on, people! I would particularly appreciate hearing from any lurkers out there who might know of the whereabouts of others of my ilk and time. I was in the lower grades at EARJ from 1961 (our first Carnaval was in 1962, when the best song was "Nessa onda que eu vou / Olha a onda iaia / E o Bafo da Onca / Que acabou de chegar") through 1965 ("Sarava meu pai / Vou me benzer ..."), and graduated high school elsewhere in 1971. Randy Hayes, Ricky Wakeman, Lynn Arguijo, Mimi Warren, Mary Poats, Kim Newberg, Lizzie Fonseca, Monica Fielden, all those kids who would have graduated in 1971 and 1972 -- where are youse guys? I'll be waiting for you to check in. Ciao, bebis -- maybe I'll see you in August?
Salam aleikum! It really can't get any easier, especially for someone who is just learning to use email. Great job, Bruce. I just want to say I have fond memories of the years we spent in Rio and old friends I've lost touch with. Mostly my fault 'cause I don't write! Anyhow, I remember Jessica Fielden, Drucie, Carla and Leslie, Helen Horn and Jenny Donnelly. Helen even lives in Tucson and I never see her. Miriam Baum called me to make sure I go to the reunion in Phoenix this summer. Now, really, how easy can that be?! What a life! I need to get back to that "boavida", enjoy the moment, spending time with friends. This is probably as close as I'll get. Anyhow, I'll enjoy reading everyone's comments. Bye for now. Thanks again, Bruce.
Have been in touch with several folks lately, including Tom Fernandez (Boca Raton, FL) '71, Ricky Krause (Virginia Beach, VA) '72, and Bill Fogtman (Rio) '73 - he's into film making down there... Great! So very nice to find a straggler and bring them back into the fold. Mark's getting married May 24 in Lake City, FL. Jay is in San Diego and ready to come up here this summer and PARTY! Ate logo. Dave McGuerty <mcguerty@quake.net>
Alô EARJ, acabei de chegar do little 8. Eu to malucão por duas cheerleaders da EARJ. Elas são Rita e KiKi. Eu queria saber se elas vão pro proximo little 8 de Novembro como Cheerleader. P.S-Não esqueçe de me mandar e-mail de volta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What? A reunion in Tempe in August? I'll take my van (clean it outfirst) and shuttle people. I want a guest book on my Goodnet page now!!! Gang furd, Bruce...and don't forget to bill some clients! Turn off thecomputer once in awhile. BUT, keep up the good work. I love you and Deborah and Ryan and all of the darned cats.
Hello Everyone! I used to teach at the Escola Americana from 7th grade, Social Studies to Junior English. . . but that was a long time ago. Does anyone remember? That was in the days when Mr. Cole was the Headmaster and later Dr. Brown. . . I remember it well . . . I have mostly. . . .mostly. . . fond memories of the entire experience, as I'm sure you do. At any rate, best wishes from me to all of you! May the road rise to meetyou !
O meu bem!!! O seu pai esta aqui! Bob Stirling, Assistant Press Attaché in the American Embassy. Bill Cooper was my boss and Press Attaché. From approximately 196l until 1965 when we all left for Honduras. I took my wife, Mary Jean, with me and the six kids, April, Penny, Robin, Mercy ,Bruce and Scot (our parrot could call them in just that order -- until he died last year in Tucson). Ciao--I'll stop now so all you EA students and faculty can salute my good wife, Mary, who was an EA teacher--(You don't have to salute me). You may address me, however, as THE GREAT PUMA. God Bless.
Bruce: You're doing a fantastic
job! Many thanks on behalf of EA alumni and friends everywhere, and especially from
everyone in the Class of 1965! See you in Tempe in August! Kenny Mertz '65 <kbmertz@aol.com>

I'm impressed. You've come a long way in a short time. I heard rumor of a
party at the Stirling residence in August for EA friends and family. Truth or Rumor?
