Hey Bruce......looks like you're still keeping the old reunion spirit alive. I haven't
had a chance to look at all of it but maybe I'll have more time to check out the rest of
the reunion site later today. What I'm really looking for is Cathy Asper Nelson's e-mail
address. Any chance you have that? Carla and I both think your wife is great and hope
Stirlings and Frenches can get together again sometime. Our dad is going to be coming out
at the end of Jan. to celebrate his 75th. Maybe you'll be able to come down to Tucson at
that time? I'll get in touch with you and/or your parents when we have more details.
Thanks for the great EA website. Leslie Lesliefp@aol.com

I'm still in shock from finding this community of people from a community that I
thought was lost forever. I was at EA from 74 to 76. My brother Chris posted above a list
of people that I would like to hear about or from also. The twins he mentions are
Alexander and Sherwood Hughes (Chris couldn't remember the last name). I've already found
a few names and sent private e-mail and await answers with baited breath. What a wonderful
idea!

Wow, what a wave of nostalgia. I didn't graduate from EA but spent 3 great years there
from 1973-1976, 6th thru 8th grade. Its nice to see that so many people remember it as a
wonderful place to have experienced. My sister Kathy Kelley is also in Atlanta and
graduated from EA in '74. My other sister Maureen Umphress now lives in Columbus Ga, and
left at the beginning of her Junior year, it broke her heart to leave at such an important
time. I always wondered if the school looked the same and from the pictures on the site it
looks great. I've always wondered about some of my Brazilian friends that I quickly lost
touch with: Octavio Lyrio, Bebette, Vera Weisman and many others whose names I can't
recall right now. Anyone rember the Clarkes, Chris he had a brother and sister named
Wendy? Great job on the site format. I'll certainly be checking out from time to time and
hopefully bring my family to Rio in the next few years.

What a great surpise it was to find this page! The memories from EA between 1974 and
1976 will last forever. Unfortunately, some of the memories consist of first names only.
Ruth Judd, I do remember you and I'm sure you remember my sister Sheila (now married and
living in Burlington, VT). It would be nice to hear from some old friends - sorry I don't
have all the last names but does anyone remember Juliet and Susan Faithful?, Allegra
Robinson, Nina (from the UK), Bob Trimper, Larry S., Bill, the Bryants (Dave, Chris, Tim),
John Tate, Lars, Paco, Lexi and Sherwood (twins). It sure would be nice hearing from
someone who might remember "the old crowd". Most of them would have graduated
between 78' and 82'. Chris Braun (79')

I have enjoyed reading the Guestbook entries, but feel like every class but mine is
represented. Even though I was just at EA 1 year, it was a great year. I'm from the class
of 1966, and other than Ric Lohman, haven't found a soul. I'd love to find Cathy Cardwell
who was my soulmate our senior year, but disappeared from my life after she left Oberlin
her freshman year. Come on guys, take pity on us class of 66ers---would love some news of
anyone!! (I feel like a minor misfit, because my Portuguese which was never great has been
swallowed up by my Spanish which I speak on a daily basis here in LA. Thanks! (obrigado!)

Has anyone successfully "chatted" via our chat page? If you have, could you
please tell me about your experience? How did it work? Thanksgiving will be a good time
for all EA chatters to gather on the chat page and greet each other. The last time we
tried something was in August at the reunion, where technical difficulties and the
limitations of yours truly prevented a hugely successful chat. I'll be checking in AFTER
dinner, along with April, Penny, Robin, Mercy, Scot, and my parents. Make sure you're
using either Netscape or Explorer. Some of the other browsers do not support JAVA, which
is needed to chat. If you are on AOL or some other browser type, go download Netscape
(free) or Explorer (free) now. Do it just before going to bed at night. See you in the
chat room!

Thanks to the message left by Roberto Cookson, I finally had a place to begin the

time to write and/or call all of your old EA friends and tell them we are here. Tell them

everybody accounted for. Whatever happened to Ken Fuji, class of '70? Rogerio Deny, Tony

I would like to call everyone's attention to a website that features EARio as well as
other interesting features of Brazil. Back in July and August of this year I helped an
organization called Globalearn to organize the logistics of their "interactive
expedition" in Brazil. Ms. Marta Serra, currently a technology coordinator and
teacher at EARio, was also instrumental in helping Globalearn with their work. This site
is educational in nature and the history investigation in Rio focuses on Ms.Collares. Take

Is Dave's master list going to be published on EA's page? [Webmaster: maybe . . .] In
the meantime, do you have any information on either Patrick Richoux or Rob Loubier from
the Class of '76? The page is looking great. I enjoy visiting every so often and seeing
more and more people discovering the page. Since adding my name I've received email from 3
or 4 friends from days gone by. Obrigado e favor continua essa obra boa, -- Terry Clarke

Thank you for publishing my letter on the web. It's been exciting! Thanks especially
for creating and developing the EA Website; you are giving us the opportunity to remember
those wonderful days. I'm sure that sooner or later I'm going to find some of my old
classmates. As soon as I can I'm going to write a few words to Dr. Brown. Though I've been
sent to his office a few times (I was not a "model student"), I remember he was
a real nice person. A new friend from Florence, Italy. ('85) Michele Mancini <>

A fellow EA alumni has been sending me E-mail messages, but my replies to him have been
returning as "undeliverable." Recently, he sent me a third message inquiring as
why I haven't responded. Perhaps, you could send him an E-mail, telling him of my
problems, and maybe asking him to send me his snail mail address. His name is Don Brown,
class of '73, and his E-mail address is "donbrown@a.crl.com." I can receive his
messages perfectly, just can't respond. Muito obrigado. Se pudese dar um jeitinho,
apreciaria muito! Carlos Herrera Class of '73

Great idea! Awesome opportunity for us to get in touch with old friends! I am now a
teacher at EA, so, if you want to know some of the news, I can give you plenty of
feedback!

Do not mess with your computers. All messages have temporarily disappeared while I edit
the errors out (or in). They are being reposted now. We are working on a "Mrs.
Stanton" and a "Ms. Collares" page. Those with special memorabilia should
scan what they have and email their lembrancas to us for publication on the web. Special
stories, etc., would be very appropriate, too, and very much appreciated. Muito obrigado.
